Color runs are a blast!

Completed my first 5k this past Saturday. Not quite able to run or even jog the entire thing yet, but I'll get there. Once we went through the first color station, the first word out of my mouth to my race partner were, "Let's do this again next year! " She agreed.

Starting Out

The first step isn't always the hardest. Sometimes it's when you realize you have to keep going. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, you say? Around the end of the four hundred ninety-ninth mile, I want to sit down and say, "Screw you, five hundred and one miles!" I know I shouldn't, but I still feel like it. So why not go that extra mile? Then whether you decide to turn around to go home or you keep going, you finish that journey of a thousand.
